The film is only an hour long and I would say that they just wanted to put a load of fights scenes together with a bit of blood and girls. But that would only work if there was any good animation or art. So basically the whole movie is an hour of wasted time!!
Basically, the main guy is the son of some great fighting guy. So his father throws him off a cliff and orders him to climb back up. Once the little 8 year old (some how) manages to climb up the cliff he vows to take revenge against his father.He then ages a lot and comes back as an overly muscular man with bad hair. Instead of fighting his father in a normal context they decide to draw the plot out a bit more by have the man enter his fathers fighting competition. While this goes on there's a number of pointless sub-plots to distract you... I mean ....er entertain you!
In these sub-plots we have a dramatic childhood friend, lots of sibling rivalry and a robot with a conscience. The childhood friend is obviously our leading lady and was friends with the boy... until she lost him when he fell off the cliff. When we see her again she's standing in her under wear and she has psychic powers and can sense peoples souls and the 'darkness' within people. Her purpose in the film s to give meaningful talks about a number of important topics. The 'revenge is bad' talk was a particularly entertaining one because she was talking about a rabbit that just got eaten and how gentle rabbits are.... She also gives talks on the strength of woman, the importance of trying hard and the dangers of a 'dark' soul! As you can see.. very important part! There is actually to pair of siblings who want to kill each other in this film. Two sisters, who were obviously just to increase the number of females in the show are there to fight each other. They have no real connection to the rest of the characters and she don't even get time for a proper fight scene! There is also the main guy and his stupid adoptive brother! The step-brother is basically just jealous... and very stupid. As for the robot with a conscience... You'd have to watch the film to even have a chance of understanding that!
The characters were all ugly! Either overly muscular or just badly styled and the animation is poor! A fighting anime needs good animation for the cool looking fight scenes!!! They just don't have the same impact when they're so poorly done!!! The plot didn't even make sense!
So really, this anime has NOTHING to entertain oneself with. Unless, like me, you find horrendously cheesy monologues and stupid looking art funny!! I did however like the soundtrack! But that was ruined by the really stupid English voice actors!!

I also found the "film" horrible. I hate it when they take cool entertaining games and do a stupid animation about it. *Sigh* there are far more intresting characters they could have used and they could have done it so much better.... yes.
