Brown Eyed Girls - Sixth Sense

More Korean CD reviews!! I really hope you don't mind these!!
Brown Eyed Girls are a 4 member girl group. They are under a smaller label name, NegaNetwork. This means their music is quite different to the big names in K-pop. You can hear this difference just by listening to their Intro song "Swing It Shorty". It has a interesting drum beat and a repetitive bass line and a standard through out the 1:21, but the rest of the song is completely unpredictable! The collision of humming and singing by the members almost make it sound like their in a jam session! In fact, upon releasing the album the agency did state that this is music no other girl group can imitate.
None of their songs are particularly electro and most feature a variety of brass instruments. The only track that has obviously has a synthesiser in it is Love Motion. Although no matter how much the song sounds like a remix they style sing in the same soulful style that they have through out the album!

Neon Genesis Evangelion

That's right! I've finally got round to watching the anime of it!! Although I doubt you guys remember when I bought the Neon Genesis Evangelion manga only to discover that it's actually meant for people who had already watched the anime.
Quite honestly I don't think that me watching this anime was that smart, since I'm no mecha fan and I'm not a fan of older art style. But still I am quite impressed by Neon Genesis Evangelion! It's certainly not my style of anime and I'm not going to join the massive buzz surrounding it, but for what it succeeds at being what it is!
It mostly revolves around the high-tech military organisation Nerv. Buried deep under New Tokyo 3 Nerv holds some of the strongest weapons known to man which are used to defeat the powerful aliens/robots called Angels. Nerv's strongest weapon is a giant meccha suit which can only be controlled by a select few. The pilot has to be 12 years old and be able to synchronise effectively with the robot. They are called Evanglion's or Eva for short. Shinji Ikari is one of these select few and is called in to be a pilot by his father, head of Nerv. The story is then mostly about Ikari being a seclusive teenager with pointless meccha fights put in every episodes.

4 Minute - 4 Minutes left

Yup, I'm doing another CD review because I didn't get enough complaints! But this one's going to be really different to my SHINee one so you HAVE to comment which style you prefer.
4 Minute is a 5 member girl group from Cube Entertainment. Their debut was June 2009 and have since released four Korean singles. It was not until 2011 that released an album - 4 Minutes left.
When I got the CD, I must admit, I was not that interested! I mainly bought it because it was only £10. But it's really good! 4 Minute are really energetic and you can hear that in their album, so much so that you can't help but dance along! The two big songs on the album are Mirror Mirror and Heart to Heart, as they as they were the two songs 4 Minute performed on music shows at the time. The two songs show completely different sides of the girls.

You're Beautiful

Yes! It's another K-drama! It's only my second one but I'm starting to really look forward to them!
You're Beautiful is a drama about cross-dressing and stardom. Go Mi Nyeo is a sister-in-training and is soon travelling to Rome to complete her training. However, on her while performing tasks for her Superior Mother a strange black van starts following her. As it turns out her twin, Go Mi Nam, as been offered a once in a life time job oppurtunity: to work as a singer for much-loved boy band A.N.JELL. Unfortunately Go Mi Nam had an incident with some cosmetic surgery and can't make it to sign the contract. So Go Min Nam's Manager, Ma, persuades his sister to sign it. But what Go Mi Nyeo doesn't realise is that once she's signed that contract she is part of the band, that means living in the dorm and following the schedules like all the other members.

Ningyou Kyuutei Gakudan (Royal Doll Orchestra)

Happy New Year every one!!!!!!!!! Sorry I didn't post last week! I thought I'd take Christmas Day off, but since that upset some of my followers I'll try not to do that again!! ^^
Well, haven't I got a treat for you to day, it's a manga! That's right I still review manga! This manga was recommended to me under the name Royal Doll Orchestra, but you can't find much under that name. Most places use either the Japanese name or the French one. It looks like 19th century France but it's entirely different. In this dimension a dreadful virus has spread the world, like a plague. If you become infected by this plague you transform into something like a zombie doll. 'Cracks' appear on your body, your joints pertrude oddly and you lose all sanity and humane thoughts. The virus is spread if a contaminated 'human', called Guignols, bite you or if their blood enters your body. So it's like a Zombie apocalypse.
Lucille is a an extremely pretty guy, who enjoys using his feminine face to cross-dress and fool others about his gender. He is the conductor and singer of the secret orchestra who will play any melody requested as long as they are paid enough. This includes the forbidden melody's that can cause strange things to happen to the Guignols. Also in the secret orchestra is Gwindel, the silent giant who plays the Cello and Kohaku, the hot-headed one who plays violin.
